Episode 2

MY Top 10 best websites for beginners in Australia

Everyone has to start somewhere!

So I have handpicked my favourite top ten websites to help the starting geologist

It is amazing how much you can do without leaving your house.

If you just starting out with genealogy now your very fortunate as you can access a lot of documents online

In the Past you would have to write relatives, cold calling people with the same last name from the white pages and going to the library to order records

So I think that beginners now have a lot more information and are able to complete a lot in a very short amount of time

Which is great!

Take me for an example I have been completing my family tree for only two years and I have amassed a family tree with over 5000 names, I would like to note that I have had a lot of help from my family and extended family, and you will see when completing your own tree that extended family and your own family are out there and often willing to help.

Now I would also like to mention that the first step for the family tree is to speak to your older relatives. To get as much information as possible

With these websites you will be able to get the information you need to add more branches on your tree

So Come with me and I go through the top 10 best websites for genealogy in Australia

Now in no particular order
